Condolences

Dear Duane, So sorry for your loss! MEREDITH was a wonderful lady that had more than her share of problems. I will miss her cheerful personality. I know she was so ready to go but she worried about you. You were the best friend she had ever had.

Duane and family,
I want to remember you in prayer when you come to mind. Always enjoyed her presence at Hospice meetings.
I spoke with her on Oct.15 and she was not well, but was her joyous self, talking about the Lord, making jokes, and not complaining at all. I loved her attitude . I will miss her.

Duane you probably don't remember me. I'm a friend of Mabel's and I have been to your house to play cards. I was so sorry to hear about Meredith. She was a great person. I didn't know her well, but enjoyed the times I spent with her.

Prayers and sincere condolences from the Terry Ladrach (WD8POG) family. Meredith was a sweet, compassionate person and will be surely missed by all who knew her. May the Lord grant peace and comfort to Duane and family.

RIP Murphy rip

I knew Meredith in high school (1956-60) and was always impressed with her playful, upbeat attitude. I only saw her once since, maybe around 2012, and she was just the same. In high school when she was a senior,I believe, she had a Karmann Ghia and since she knew how I loved cars, especially German ones, she drove out to my place and let me drive it, top down, one perfect summer afternoon. The loss of kindness and cheerfulness makes the world just a bit less. My sincere condolences to her husband and family.

I went to school with Meredith with class of 58. She was always upbeat even after all her surgeries. I can remember trying to ski down the hill by her home in Shreve. She was a good friend and will be missed by all. My condolences to her family.

I remember Meredith well as a young boy visiting Dr. Pratt's office. It was always good to have a kind presence like her during stitches, and other youngster maladies. May she rest in peace... Godspeed Meredith.

Duane, so sorry to see the news. Meredith was a wonderful person and will be very much missed!

Duane, My prayers go out to you and your family. I am truly sorry for your loss. I am forever grateful that God led me to you and Meredith 30 years ago when I was first employed by WPD and you became my Landlords. I consider myself blessed to know you both considered me a friend. I am so looking forward to the day I can see Meredith again in my Fathers house.

Duane and family, I just wanted to tell you a little story. You don’t know me but I heard updates of Meredith thru my mom Betty Leathers or Bob Brady. But the story I want you to know is that when I was a kid-maybe 5 and I am 65 now-so a long time ago, I was in the hospital and I was down in the playroom playing and I looked up and there stood Meredith at the nurses station. She was dressed not in a white cap and uniform but in a long formal dress. So beautiful in the eyes of a young kid. There she was… a princess. Quite stunning to my eyes after just seeing white uniforms all day. I don’t know where she was headed or coming back from. A few years later I remember where I was when I heard that the princess was in an accident. By the grace of God her life was spared but…oh… what a life she had. Many downs and few ups as she went thru life. But not once did she ever give up. She took life by the reins and took it all in stride And one day the princess found a prince. His name was Duane. And he took care of the princess, helped her when she needed help and loved her No MATTER WHAT! Duane, I just want you to know that everyone in this community looks up to you for the way you took care of Gods child. The princess is gone but look at all the hands that she touched, Meredith will not be forgotten.

Duane, please accept my sincere condolences of Meredith's passing. As a classmate, she was the best, always cheerful, energetic and ready for anything. We lost a lovely person, the Lord gained an Angel. RHIP Meredith
