WOOSTER – Merilyn H. WRIGHT, 84, formerly of Lakewood passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born in 1926 to Marguerite and Benjamin J. Hoffman and married Francis H. Wright in 1958. (He passed away in 1989). Merilyn was employed at the East Ohio Gas Company. She loved to knit, quilt, garden and bake. She was a generous and loving mother and aunt.
She is survived by her brother, Bernard J Hoffman of Wooster, step-children, Helen (Jim) Frey of Avon and Richard (Joanne) Wright of FL, grandchildren and nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, her dear cousin Richard P. Gibbons of Cleveland and best friend Tish Del Villian of Cleveland.
Merilyn was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Christopher Trenta as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery, Wooster.
