WOOSTER – Merrianne RUPERT, 59, of Wooster, passed away Friday, January 22, 2010 in Akron General Medical Center
She was born December 14, 1950 in Bradford, PA.
She was a homemaker and had worked at Lightning Rod Mutual Insurance Co. in Wooster. Merrianne had volunteered at Every Womans House, was a member of Elks Lodge and the Isaac Walton League. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren, gardening and visiting wineries.
Surviving are husband, Ken Rupert, whom she married November 1, 1969; a son, Justin (Kristin) Rupert of Thiensville, WI and a daughter, Amy (Jeff) Kota of Wooster, grandchildren, Dakota and McKinley Barnes and Zane and Gage Kota; sisters, Suzanne (Bobby) Gorton of Gifford, PA and Sandy (Bill) Rivenbark of Bradford, PA
Merrianne was preceded in death by her parents.
A gathering of friends will be held at Wooster Elks Lodge, 335 N. Market St, Wooster on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 4-6:00 P.M.
A private family funeral service will be held.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family with arrangements.
