Michael œMick  McClain, 79, of N. Canton and formerly of Wooster died on Friday, September 10, 2021 at his home.
He was born November 12, 1941 in Lima to Clarence and Frances E. Blank McClain.   On July 16, 1994, he married Judith œJudy  Cole Howard.   She survives.
Mick had worked in inside sales for JF Good Company and had previously worked for COFSCO in Wooster for over 25 years.   He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and the Tennessee Volunteers.   He enjoyed playing golf, watching NASCAR; loved watching his children and grandchildren ™s sporting events and absolutely loved spending time with all of his family.
Along with his wife, Mick is survived by his children Mark (Laura) McClain, Christy Pamer and Mike (Mandy) McClain all of Wooster, Lisa (Mike) Baird of Dublin, Sharon (Jim) Reik of N. Canton and Jeff (Christy) Howard of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA; grandchildren Matthew McClain, Trey Pamer, Leslie Pamer, Lianne (Andy) Martin, Stephanie (Braden) Horvath, Jamie (Mitch) Race, Kyle Cardwell, Jeromy Reik, Kate Howard and Ellie Howard and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters June Burnside, Mim Wauben, Char Felkey and a brother Phil McClain.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 7:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
