SHREVE – Mildred M STRYKER, 83, of Shreve passed away Friday, January 8, 2010 in West View Manor Nursing Home.
She was born March 20, 1926 in Ft. Gay, WV., the daughter of Owen and Vada Thompson Frazier. She married Lawrence D. Stryker on March 3, 1946. He died November 12, 2000.
She was a homemaker and had done housekeeping at Apple Creek Developmental Center. Member of the Millbrook Community Church and the Women’s Democratic Party.
Surviving are her children Bob (Ina) Stryker of Millersburg, Charles Stryker of Wooster, Dennis (Carol) Stryker of Shreve, Maxine Hustead of New Pittsburg and Raymond (Peggy) Stryker of Wooster; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, siblings, Juanita Cart of Anderson, IN, Minard Frazier of Ft. Gay, Pearlene (Lan) Marcum of Louisa, KY and Mavis (Phillip) Thompson of HardY, VA.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Monday, January 11, 2010 from 7-9:00 P.M.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Thomas McFadden officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
