WOOSTER – Myrna Grady NORTON, 97, of Wooster, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010 in West View Manor Nursing Home.
She was born March 31, 1913 in Wayne County, daughter of Paul and Mary Albright Grady.
She had been the owner and operator of the Post Script Motel in Wooster for 20 years. She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, the Dorcas Circle and the Lunch Bunch, a former member of the Society of Mayflower Decendants, a member of the Colonial Dames, Daughters of the American Revolution, The Wayne Co. Early American Glass Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Ann (Myron) Swinehart of Apple Creek son, Jim (Nancy) Norton of Wooster; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a brother, James M Grady of San Antonio, TX.
Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Robert Norton in 1981 whom she married November 10, 1932 and Fred Swinehart in 1998 whom she married June 2, 1991 and a sister, Margaret Grady Lowe.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday evening from 6-8:00 P.M.
A Memorial Services will be held Monday, May 10, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Trinity United Church of Christ with The Rev. Dr. Kevan Franklin officiating. A private family burial will be held.
