WOOSTER “ Patricia œPat  Willard, 83, of Wooster passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at her home from lung cancer in the company of her daughter and son.
She was born to Gale and Marjorie Baker Trowbridge of Jonesville, Michigan on January 25, 1934.
She attended Michigan State University (MSU) for two years before graduating from a secretarial school in Indiana.   Pat was always on the honor role at MSU.   She was active socially and politically supported progressive causes while maintaining strong friendships with avid conservatives.
She will be remembered for her curiosity, generosity, energy and wit.
Pat is survived by her son, Dirk Willard of Wooster, Julie (Michael) Schwanz of Newburyport, Mass.,  Dana (Byron) Kraynak of Wixom, Michigan; grandchildren, Lane (Jacqueline) Schwanz, Haley Schwanz and Nicholas Kraynak and a sister, Marilynn Fox of Dayton, Ohio.   Pat adored her nieces and nephews and held many dear friends close to her heart.
In accordance with Pat ™s wishes, she was cremated.   A memorial service is planned for Thursday, January 4, 2018 AT 11:00 a.m. at the Wooster United Methodist Church, 243 N. Market St., Wooster with the Rev. Charles Tobias officiating.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
