SMITHVILLE “ Patricia Olive œPat  Blackwell, 81, of Smithville passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at her home.
She was born June 10, 1939 in Rittman the daughter of Glen and Clara Sayre Strader.
She provided transportation for the Amish community and had worked at Kidron Town & Country as a waitress and Gerber Poultry.   Pat was a member of the Smithville United Methodist Church.
Pat was fiercely patriotic.   She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and was proud to be a Smithville œSmithie .   She enjoyed time with family at Mapledale, sewing, going to yard sales, playing cards especially euchre and attending her children ™s, grandchildren ™s and great-grandchildren ™s sporting events.
Surviving is her mother Clara Sayre Zimmerman of Smithville; her children Laura (Mark) Suttle of Orrville, Lana (Steve) Tope of Canton, Russell Feller of Dalton, Rodney (Diana) Feller of Wooster and Ryan (Jenn) Feller of Smithville; step-children Mark (Mary Ann) Blackwell and Steve (Deb) Blackwell both of Georgia and David (Brenda) Blackwell of Smithville; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sisters Glenda DeCarlo and Bonnie Kaser both of Wooster and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, her husband Bill Blackwell, an infant daughter, a great-granddaughter Kylie Faith Dawson, and two step-fathers Harry Conrad and Earl Zimmerman.
Friends will be received on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 3-6:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster and 1 hour prior to the time of the service at the church.   Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
Services will be on Monday, March 29, 2021 at noon at the Smithville United Methodist Church, 243 N. Milton St., Smithville with Rev. Carolyn Berry officiating.
Everyone is encouraged to wear blue which was Pat ™s favorite color.
