Paul David McLaughlin passed away peacefully with his family present on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital.
Paul was born January 23, 1946 in Barnesville, OH, to Hugh & Viola Reischman McLaughlin.
Paul is survived by his wife Dianne Hartzler McLaughlin, whom he married April 23, 1972.
Paul is also survived by his sons Shane (Susie) of Lake Forest, CA., Darby (Sarah), of Wooster, OH., Grandchildren, Kayla, Brooke, Quinton, Dugan, Haley, Vayda McLaughlin and 2 very special Godchildren, Austen & Kierstyn Wood.   Siblings Martha Vandervort of Lincoln, NE., John McLaughlin, Tom McLaughlin, Karl McLaughlin, Karen Worley and Linda McLaughlin of Colorado. Paul is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his dear son Jason McLaughlin, his parents and 3 siblings
Paul retired from Maibach Tractor & Becker Farms Trucking. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.
Paul liked collecting everything!   He was especially proud of his 1000 + piece toy tractor collection.   He also was proud of his antique Oliver tractors and his antique cars, of which his 1970 Charger was his favorite.   He loved to go to car and tractor shows and tractor pulls.   He enjoyed cheering on his grandkids in all their sporting events.   He spent his last week before he got sick at the Wayne County Fair watching his grandkids show.   He never missed a fair in 50+ years.
Calling hours will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church (9451 Ashland Rd., Wooster OH, 44691), from 1:00 “ 3:00 pm. Sunday, October 10, 2021.   Private family graveside service will be held.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, 9451 Ashland Rd., Wooster OH 4461.

  11. We are so sorry to hear about Paul’s passing. He was such a good friend, we’ve had so many good times with him at our Mid-Ohio Mopar’s car shows, downtown cruise in’s and any other car events around Wayne County over the year’s. He was always so happy & positive and always joking around with everyone, we always looked forward to talking to him & will truly miss his smiling face. Our sympathy goes out to Dianne and the family you are all in our prayer’s.
