Paul John Jennings passed away August 19, 2019 after a period of declining health. Paul was born July 19, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY to John and Anna (Profeta) Jennings.
He relocated his family to Akron, Ohio in 1967. Paul spent the majority of his career as V.P. of Operations in retail and mall corporate management. Paul loved musical entertainment and Broadway productions and when living in NY enjoyed live concerts of many classic artists including Nat King Cole. He passed his love of music to his daughter. Paul was an avid and excellent golfer and loved to play racquetball. He also enjoyed watching all sports, especially baseball and football.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, brother, and son Edward. He is survived by his wife Joan, daughter Paula Strong (Dan) and grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Major Mary West for her service and the staff at The Avenue of Wooster for their compassionate care.
A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, Wooster assisted the family.
