WOOSTER - Phyllis A. Foltz, 80, of Wooster, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Western Reserve Masonic Community in Medina.

She was born May 9, 1937 in Shreve, the daughter of William Allen and Maude Unkel Manson.  She married Russell Foltz on April 6, 1956.  He survives.

Phyllis had worked for Rubbermaid.  She was a member of the Wayne Presbyterian Church and Garfield Chapter of Eastern Star.  She was a Past District Deputy of Eastern Star.  Phyllis enjoyed crocheting, traveling, reading and playing cards.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Gary (Michelle) Foltz of Creston, Terry (Rebecca) Foltz of Danville, IN, Robin Carter of Wooster and Judy (Jim) Fisher of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Russell Carter, John (Jennifer) Fisher, Jeffrey Fisher and Maya Foltz; brothers Norman Manson of Arkansas and Dean Manson of Apple Creek and many nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Gene Manson.

Friends will be received 2 hours prior to the 7:00 p.m. service on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Rev. J. Alexander officiating.  An Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
