WOOSTER Randall Louis Randy Riggs, 67, of Wooster passed away on January 11, 2017 in the Transitional Care Unit located in Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born April 19, 1949 in Wooster, the son of Rex and Patricia Steiner Riggs.
He was a self-employed plumber and had previously worked with his father and brother. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, gun and coin collecting, working with model trains and music.
Surviving are his father, Rex Riggs of Haines City, Florida; his children, Trisha (Keith) McComas of Wooster and Hilary (Eric) Thompson of Smithville; grandchildren, Cameron Yoder of Smithville and Olivia Yoder of Wooster; a brother, Rusty (Debbie) Riggs of Creston and a sister, Vicki (John) Mowrer of Jeromesville; a beloved aunt, Brenda Doty of Wilmot and his former spouse, Linda Riggs of Wooster.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
There will be no calling hours.
A Celebration of Life service will be held later in the year.
His body has been donated to the Division of Anatomy at the Ohio State University in support of education and research at the College of medicine.
