MILLERSBURG-Richard D. œRick  Daugherty, Jr., 59, of Millersburg and formerly of Wooster passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg.
He was born May 12, 1961 in Mansfield the son of Richard D. Sr. and Shirley Byler Daugherty.
He had worked for Goodwill Industries and especially enjoyed it when he was assigned to work at the Wooster Brush Company.   Rick enjoyed mushroom hunting and Rock N Roll music.
Surviving are his sisters Debra Lynn Pontius of West Virginia and Sharon (Larry) Lang of Florida; a niece Nikki (Rob) Zawojski and their children Amara, Alex and Andreana of Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private graveside services were held for the immediate family at East Union Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  1. My sincere condolences at the passing of Ricky. I’m Carl Daugherty’s son in Washington. I remember playing with Ricky when we were little kids when we visited Ohio. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Shawn Daugherty, Lacey, Washington.

  2. I will miss “Doc” He was my little buddy. He didn’t talk alot but always had something to talk about when I would see him. Will miss you little buddy.
