Richard œDick  Goodright 89, of Wooster passed away Tuesday July 17, 2018 at The Avenue at Wooster.
He was born Nov. 13, 1928 in Cambridge, Ohio the son of William and Mary Addy Goodright.   On June 4, 1961 he married Elizabeth Joan Shank who preceded him in death on November 21, 2013.
Dick had spent his career working as a Salesman.   He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and especially love the Browns.   He loved to gamble, play golf, hang out at the Elks Lodge and enjoyed traveling with his wife and Bill and Nadine Black.   Dick had served his country with the United States Army for 4 years and served during the Korean Conflict.   He was a member of the Wooster Elks Lodge and Trinity United Church of Christ in Wooster.
Dick is survived by his Children: Karen (Dennis) Archer, Rik (Nancy) Goodright, Bob Goodright, and Rusty Goodright. Grandchildren: Richard Goodright III, Jessica (Craig) Anderson, Bryan Archer, Chris Archer, and Beth Ann Archer.   Great Grandchildren: Weston Burnett Goodright, Ensley Renee Goodright, Sofia Leigh Anderson, Tate Amstutz, Adrian Amstutz, Anelise Amstutz, Django Archer, Abbott Archer, Bailey Elisabeth Archer and Cassidy Archer.   Siblings: Gene Goodright, Martha Johnson, and Dave (Bev) Young.
He was preceded in death by his wife, a son: Michael Goodright, and siblings: William (Jean) Goodright and Nadine (Bill) Black.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Trinity United Church of Christ 150 E. North St. Wooster, Ohio 44691 with Rev. Kevan Franklin Officiating.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.   A private burial will be held.   Arrangements are under the direction of McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster, Ohio 44691.
