Deepest Sympathy to Merylinn and Jerry. I ran into Dick while eating at a Navy Mess Hall in Japan of’66 as our ship just pulled in from Vietnam for repairs and Dick’s Ship was refueling and getting supplies for Vietnam. Ran into him decades later while employed with Ohio Power repairing security lights at Kidron Body stating he just retired from the Navy now working for Kidron Body. We swapped some “sea stories” and discovered we better get back on the “clock”. God be with you Master Chief
