WOOSTER “ Richard Leo Stiver, 76, of Wooster passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.
He was born November 14, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Robert and Frances Supplee Stiver.   He married Helen E. Mendenhall on February 11, 2018.   She survives.
He had been a College Professor in Michigan for 30 years.   Richard enjoyed watching football and paying pickleball.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are his children, Kathryn Stiver, Tori Gill, Curtis Stiver, Liz Stiver and Leah Stiver; siblings, Linda Erickson and Ken Stiver.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no calling hours or services.
