Robert E. Tomes, 59, of Wooster passed away on Sunday May 29, 2022 at his home.
He was born on November 29, 1962 in Lodi, Ohio the son of Lyle Thomas and Thelma Mae Utt Tomes
Robert had worked as a welder most of his life for various companies. He was a collector of many things and loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and he loved his dog Rusty.
He is survived by his children: Joshua Tomes of Cleveland, Jennifer Tomes of Cleveland, Adam Tomes of Wooster, Brittany Tomes of Wooster, Tabitha Tomes, of Asheboro NC., and Natalie Watts of Copley. Siblings: Michael G. ( Darlene ) Tomes of Rineyville KY, Roy (Jennifer) Williams Jr. of Mt. Vernon, Matthew P. ( Carolyn Welton ) of Lyman SC, Melanie ( Jessie ) Keene of Lodi, and Heidi ( Ken ) Imhoff of Akron. 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Lyle Thomas Tomes and Thelma Williams, A sister; Dixie L. Etzwiler. His Step Father; Roy Williams Sr. and a niece; Michelle Mickey Caine.
Graveside services will be held 12:00 P.M. Friday June 3, 2022 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Shreve.
With pastor Arnie Kaufman officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home.
