WEST SALEM – Robert Leon MCGUIRE, 74, of West Salem, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his home.
He was born March 27, 1944 in Dayton, PA, the son of William and Hazel McMillan McGuire.   He married Joyce Ward on November 25, 1985.   She survives.
He had worked as a mobile home transporter, a diesel mechanic and had worked in construction.   Robert attended the Mohican Church of the Brethren.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Joyce, are his children, James (Tonda) McGuire of Ashland Co., son, Robert McGuire of SC, and Amy Clark of Wooster; 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and his brothers, Daryl (Marilyn) McGuire of Canton, Dennis (Mary) McGuire of FL and Tim (Vicky) McGuire of Wellington.
Leon was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Mickey McGuire and Carol Dean Lee.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Mohican Church of the Brethren, 7759 N. Elyria Rd., West Salem.
