WOOSTER “ Robert M. Martin, 86, of Wooster passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at West View Healthy Living, in Wooster.
He was born December 14, 1933 in Lodi, the son of Warren and Emily Hofacker Martin. He married Jeanne M. Guenther on July 23, 1955. She preceded him in death in 2014.
Robert proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy from 1955 until 1961.
He had worked as a landscape foreman for Davey Tree and a farmer. Robert had also worked at Wooster Equity. He was a member of the Allis-Chalmers Tractor Club.
He is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Richard (Marjorie) Guenther of Wooster and Patricia (Bernard) Nold of Sheby, several nieces and nephews and many cousins.
In addition to his wife, Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to give a special thanks to West View Healthy Living for all of their care of Bob.
There will be no services. A private family burial will be held at St. Mary Cemetery, in Wooster.
