Robert Steven œSkip  Hoffer, 71, died Monday, March 16, 2015 at his home after an 8 year battle with cancer.
Skip was born August 5, 1943 in Wooster to Robert Stanley and Jacklyn Spaulding Hoffer.   On June 5, 1976 he married Janet Marie Miller, who survives.
Skip was co-owner of the 18 Wheeler Healer Shop and enjoyed farming, animals and restoring old tractors.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his children Robin (Dawn) Hoffer of Perrysburg, Tracy Hoffer of Bowling Green and Arianne (Brock Yoder) Hoffer of Wooster; step children William and Timothy McAfee both of Indiana and Kevin McAfee of Wooster; grandchildren Christopher and Kayla Hoffer; step grandchildren Sean and Kyle McAfee; step great grandchild Mason McAfee; sister Amanda (Reid) Prinkey of Bellefontaine and a brother Sam (Jeanne) Humphrey of West Mansfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his step father Scott Humphrey.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, 7129 Cleveland Road, Wooster.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 4:00-7:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
