WOOSTER - Robert Wilson Bahl, 79, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.

He was born December 2, 1938 in Wooster, the son of Leo W and Frances Mann Bahl.

He had been the office manager at Kauffman Tire for 19 years and had also worked at Wooster Office Supply and Watson Office Supply.  Member of the Church of the Cross United Methodist Church, former member of Wooster Noon Lions Club, and a founding member of Wooster Community Youth Center.  

Bob proudly served his country with the U.S. Army.

Surviving is his husband, AnPing Huang of Wooster.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his previous life partner, Randy Boles.

Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with the Rev. Matthew Wald officiating.  Burial will be in the Wooster Cemetery.

AnPing and any other members of the family who might be living: I am so sorry to see that Bob has passed. I have know Bob since I was a very young girl, along with his parents.Bob was also just ahead of me at Wooster High,remember him being in Marching Band and as a Drum Major. Bob knew how to twirl a baton and throw it high. Praying that God will wrap him in his loving arms and give him Peace. No more pain as he walks along a new path to meet his parents. GOD Bless .

Bob was an enjoyable person. Friends and I shared a wonderful holiday evening at his home one year. How he loved to decorate his home.

Bob has been sick along time and hopefully he will be at peace now! I have known Bob along time and loved him as a brother. Bob was a great friend and he will be missed. AnPing, you have my deepest sympathy for your loss of your partner Rest in peace!

So sorry to hear of your loss of our good friend Bobby. Circumstances kept us from the funeral on Friday but we were childhood-teenage friends and classmates. We kept in touch always and had lots of fun together. He will always be apart of our memories. May God bless you all.

Bob was such a good person. So friendly, kind and pleasant. Always seemed interested in your topic of conversation even if he wasn’t. He was so polite. Great friend to our family. Sad I just found out of his passing.
