WOOSTER – Ronald J Croston, 71, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at his home.
He was born December 19, 1944 in Canton, the son of Dewey and Georgia Harper Croston.
He was a retired truck driver and had worked at Magnipower for 16 years.   Ronald was a member of the American Legion, loved fishing and riding motorcycles.
He proudly served his country with the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his sons, Danny Griffith and Tony (Misty) Shinn both of Wooster; grandchildren, Jade and Ashlynn Shinn and his siblings, Margaret Deringer of Fredericksburg and Robert Moore of Lodi.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Nellie Fetzer and Dorothy Christopher and a brother, Fraymon Croston.
There will be no calling hours.
Graveside services will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 2:30 p.m.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the funeral home to help with expenses.
