WOOSTER – Ronald Lee SPROWLS, 70, of Wooster passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009 in Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born July 2, 1939 in Wooster the son of Leland O. and Eunice M. Myers Sprowls.
He was a 1957 graduate of Wooster High School and attended Elmira College in New York. He had been employed by Wooster Office Supply, Crites-Watson Office Supply and Super America Service Station. He was a member of the Central Christian Church.
Ronald loved baseball and gardening and his children and grandchildren. He was an avid swimmer and coached the YMCA swim team in earlier years. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Surviving are daughter, Kelly Lynne Becker of Shreve and sons, Kevin Sprowls of Orrville and Ronald (Danette) Sprowls II of Sturgis, MI, 8 grandchildren Courtney, Aaron and Dillon Becker of Shreve, Kyle, Kurt and Korbin Sprowls of Orrville and Trevor and Brendon Sprowls of Michigan. and a sister, Sara (William) Logan of Roanoke, VA.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Wooster, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Monday, July 13 from 1:00 ? 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Shreve at 2:30 P.M.
