Ronald P. Dilyard, 76, of Wooster passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 at LifeCare Hospice.
He was born Dec. 8, 1940 in Wooster the son of Paul and Doris Cornelius Dilyard.   On Sept. 22, 1962 he married Nancy Paull who preceded him in death on May 4, 2017.
Ronald worked for the Customer Service Department for International Paper for 34 years before his retirement in 2000.   He had previously worked for The Wooster Lumber Company.
Ron was a loving husband, father and grandfather and always enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving are his three children: Matthew (Jennifer) Dilyard of Wooster, Marianne (Brian) Vincent of Wooster and Ann (Michael) Birtic of Roanoke, Texas.   5 grandchildren: Sophia Dilyard, Breanna Vincent, Nick Vincent, Spencer Dilyard and Keifer Dilyard.   Siblings: Judy Buss of Smithville, Rick (Susan) Dilyard of Smithville, Jill (Jim) Franks of Smithville and Rod (Jill) Dilyard of Orrville. A sister in law: Lynne Molzen of Wooster. Many nieces and nephews.  
He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Dilyard, his parents, siblings: Jackie Thompson, Richard Dilyard and an infant sister. Two brothers in law: John Buss and Ken Thompson and two nephews: Nathaniel Dilyard and David Kopec.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 30, 2017 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster, Ohio 44691 with Father Stephen Moran officiating. Inurnment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
