WOOSTER – Ruby Elizabeth MILLER, 73, of Wooster passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2009 in her home.
She was born October 19, 1935 in Holmesville the daughter of Russell Dean and Vera Hamlin Martin.
She had worked at Bell and Howell for 23 years in the accounts receivable and accounts payable departments before retiring. She was a member of the West Hill Baptist Church. Ruby was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with all of them. She was an avid NASCAR and Cleveland Indians fan and was an Ohio Reads volunteer at Melrose School.
Surviving are husband, Robert L. Miller, whom she married February 10, 1963; her children Robert W. Miller of Wooster, Jeffrey Dean (Kara) Miller of Ashland, Brenda Rollo of Delaware, Karen (Jeff) Aukerman and Cindy (Scott) Courson both of Wooster; a sister, Donna Jean (Dwight) Stair of Wadsworth, brothers, Raymond Dean (Marjorie) Martin and Earl Leory (Terrie) Martin both of Wooster; grandchildren Brianne, Katie and Andrea Rollo, Brett, Brittany, Alyssa and Jessica Aukerman, Elizabeth, Samantha, Taylor and Stuart Courson, Erika and Logan Miller and Zachary and Landon Miller.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Wanda and a brother Bill.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday evening from 5-9:00 P.M. and 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Eric Fairhurst officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
