WOOSTER “ Rudy Earl Woodruff, 71, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Ohio ™s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.
He was born June 20, 1947 in Wooster, the son of Roy S. and Dorothy Pauline Gentry Woodruff.   He married Bonnie Ray on July 20, 1968.   She survives.
He had worked at Goodwill Industries as a tow motor operator.   Rudy was an animal lover and especially enjoyed his little dog Sissy.   He also enjoyed fishing and camping and going to the clubs with his daddy.   His children and grandchildren were very special to him.   He was a member of the American Legion Post 68 of Wooster, the V.F.W. and Wooster Eagles.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Bobby L. Woodruff of Wooster and Timmy L. Woodruff of Dalton; grandchildren, Abby Starcher, Jacob Riggins, Adria Woodruff and Jared Woodruff; great-granddaughter, Savannah Starcher and a brother, Rick Woodruff of Wooster.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Rudy W. Woodruff, a granddaughter, Ashley Wile, a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Starcher and his siblings, Randy, Ronnie, Rex and Roy Woodruff and Crystal Wolford.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 6-8:00 p.m.
There will be no funeral services.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
