WOOSTER – Rudy M. BARSTOW, 61, of Wooster passed away Sunday, December 13, 2009 in Akron General Medical Center.
He was born May 9, 1948 in Stark County, the son of Paul and Eileen Buck Barstow.
He had been a truck driver for Quality Block Company since 2002. He attended the Parkview Church of Christ and loved hunting, fishing and anything outdoors.
Surviving are his wife, Cynthia Coots Barstow, whom he married July 7, 2001; his mother of Malvern; his children Tracy (J.D.) Liston of NC, Rudy Barstow of Dover, John Barstow of Beloit, Penni (Michael) Tuttle of Ft. Wayne, IN, Michael (Kandy) Hartong of Carrollton, Mindi (Mark) Pearson of Kensington and Danita Phillips of Magnolia; 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brothers, Bill (Carol) Barstow of N. Canton, Joe (Della) Barstow of Hudson, FL and Robert (Sarah) Barstow of Wooster and a sister, Sue (Pete) McMillen of Malvern.
Rudy was preceded in death by father and 2 grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Servicewill be held Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Parkview Church of Christ with with the Rev. Dean Hammond officiating.
