Ruth graduated from Wooster High School and held several secretarial jobs. Her last employment was the Clerk/Treasurer of the Wayne Co. Public Library which she held until her retirement in 1980.
Surviving are her husband, Loy R. Clark, whom she married in 1980; her
children Ted R. (Peggy) Zimmerman of Hampstead, NC, James E. (Maria) Fox, Jr. of San Jose, CA, Barbara (Don) Caperton of Wooster and Stephen E. Fox of Wooster; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sisters Mabel Smith, Eileen Sammis, Lucille Strausbaugh and Lois Straub and brothers Forest and Ralph Keister.
