WOOSTER – Sally Carolyn Cantey-House, better known as, Boostie, age 83, received her wings to heaven on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.  
Sally was born December 21, 1936 in Boykin, South Carolina to Sallie Cantey and Thomas Cantey Sr.   Sally came to Wooster, Ohio when she was 20 yrs. old.  
Sally would work two, sometimes three jobs at various places to support her family. She eventually retired from Rubbermaid after 33 years. Sally was a member of Second Baptist church.
Sally truly loved her children, her family, and friends, and would do just about anything to help them out in their time of need.
The spirit of Sally lives in the lives of her loving devoted children and, loving family,  son, William A. Chavers Jr.( wife Nerissa),of Pflugerville, Texas, son, Gregory A. Chavers, of Wooster, Ohio, daughter, Rondreeta Chavers of Wooster, Ohio (finance’ James Nelson of Cincinnati), daughter Janetta M. Kelley, of Columbus, Ohio.; grandchildren: William A. Chavers Jr. (Tre’), Jesse L. Allen Jr., Christopher D. Allen, Jonathan E. Dunn, Steven D. Chavers, Simone (House) McNitt (husband Richard McNitt); brother Thomas Cantey Jr. (wife Doris Cantey), sister Barbara Minnie Griffith ( husband Arthur) both deceased, sister Lula Durden (husband John), brother Jimmy Cantey (deceased), brother Johnny Perry Cantey (deceased),sister Bernice Cantey Johnson, sister Betty Cantey Crawford (husband Richard), brother Ronald M. Cantey (deceased), Sister Sadie Mae White ( husband Frank ), Brother Ned Reynolds,(deceased) and, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives, and friends.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Second Baptist Church, 245 S. Grant St., Wooster with Rev. Rickey Brown officiating.   Burial will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
