Today we said our final goodbyes to our hero ¦our Mom.   The strongest person we ever knew. One that fought many medical battles.   Every time, defying all odds.   When recovery was near impossible she came back “ a fighter and a warrior, never giving up.   She was a 7-minute sudden death survivor, an 8-year lung cancer survivor, and survivor of many more battles.   Sadly, this time she was not able to come back from this episode.   This is the first time we are not bringing her home from the hospital, the sting of the pain is unbearable.
Mom was always a giver, as we cry tears of sadness other families will cry tears of joy as they learn their loved ones will be recipients of her gift of life through organ donation.   She continues to give back “ to the very end!
Our Mom, Our Warrior, and Our Hero.   We love her so much!
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.  He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:   He leadeth me beside the still waters.   He restoreth my soul:   He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name ™s sake.   Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow death, I will fear no evil:   for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.   Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.   Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.   Psalm   23.
