WOOSTER – Shirley A. Dreibelbis, 62, of Wooster passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Wooster Community Hospital.

Shirley was born July 24, 1957 in Dover, the daughter of Kenneth R. and Ora Jean Shinaberry Haver.  She married Arthur Dreibelbis on July 24, 2007.  He survives.

She retired as a nurse’s aide from various nursing homes and health care agencies.  Shirley loved collecting dolphins and peacocks and going fishing.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are  her children, Crystal (Harold) Amstutz of Wooster, Stoney (James) Hurley of Orrville, Carlos (Jodi) Hood of Howard and Jason Hood and Rachel Hood both of Mansfield; 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Sara (Robert) Miller, Lorena (Charles) Smith and Helen Rogers all of Wooster and Barbara Haver of Cambridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 2:00 p.m. service on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Dan Wingate officiating.  Burial will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the funeral home to help defray expenses.

So sorry for your loss. I worked with Shirley at Friends in Deed. She was a good worker. Knew she had health issues but not that she was bad enough to pass. She is in a better place now.
