WOOSTER “ Shirley G. Kaylor, 81, of Wooster passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Danbury Woods Assisted Living Community in Wooster.
She was born, July 1, 1935 in Chicago, the daughter of John and Anna Katolic Janko.   She married Richard Kaylor in 1953.   He survives.
She had worked for Lightning Rod Mutual Insurance Co. for 20 years and had previously worked at Dairy Land in Wooster.   Shirley enjoyed golfing, quilting, playing piano, ceramics, shopping, spending time with her grandchildren and winters in Florida at Estero Beach for the last 24 years with her husband.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Catherine Varner of Wooster and Dennis (Shellee) Kaylor of Ashland; grandchildren, Jason Jordan of Canton, Terra Jordan of Wooster, Candice (Curt) Schneider of Ashland and Corree (Scott) Springfield of Beechwood; great-grandchildren, Zoey Jordan and MacKenzie Jordan of Orrville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Christopher Kaylor and a brother, Jack Janko.
There will be no calling hours.
Private family services will be held.   Burial will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill is assisting the family.
