Wooster – Ted Allen Warren, 63, of Wooster passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Wooster Community Hospital.

He was born July 17, 1954 in Akron the son of Joe and Dorothy Walters Warren. 

Ted was a 1972 graduate of Smithville High School and was a self-employed truck driver.  He loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and watching his nieces and nephews in their sporting events.

He proudly served his country with the U.S. Marines.

He is survived by his children, Emily (Ben) Shaffer of Marshallville and Hannah (Anthony) Blair of Wooster; grandchildren, Jaelynn Warren, Gunner Kelbly, Caden Shaffer, Kinslee Gochnauer and Rylee Blair; his siblings, Mary Jo (Jerry) Kirven and Janice (Steve) Curren both of Wooster.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Timothy L. Warren.

Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 6-8:00 p.m.

Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Davenport officiating.  Burial will be Oak Grove Cemetery in Shreve.

So sorry to the whole family. Certain people in our lives leave a little hole in our hearts when they leave us. While Teds passing breaks my heart,,I have so many good memories of laughing,playing cards, Thanksgiving dinner at his Marine base,candy marshmallow peanuts and the list goes on and on. So sorry to hear this.. The Warren Family is one that was part of my childhood they were Smithville People and truly a community that raised the entire towns kids. Rest in peace Ted, sympathy to the entire family you are in my thoughts and prayers.

So sad to hear this news. But I have so many great memories with Ted, playing cards in the kitchen, turtle fries and many other great times. He always knew how to have fun and loved those "pork chops & apple sauce". Will be thinking the family. Will always remember the good times.

We will so miss Ted's smile and laugh with all that charm attached. Jeff will miss your conversations about all the local sports teams and their stand outs, and your recent made plans to hit up a few games again this season. Football and Wrestling season wont be the same without you. Hoping for the family to find peace in your memories, along with those of all the people he touched through his life. RIP, T-Dream.

Ted was a good friend. I had a truck crash in the snow and ice when loaded needed to get my load off and Ted came through as a true friend would and helped me get the load to North Carolina. Always had a smile. Sorry Emily and Hannah for your loss.

I'll always remember Ted coming out to the motorcycle shop to see my brother Noel. All through the years Ted always had that big smile and a kind word whenever I would see him! My deepest sympathy goes out to his family and all his friends!

I can remember Ted and "Stuey" telling trucker stories about the good old days. When he would come in Buehlers to shop, he'd come down the isle with a smile, a hug, and a "Hello Mrs. Stuart!! R I P my friend, you surely will be missed.
