SHREVE – Ted. E. Hill, Sr., 70, of Shreve passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at Akron General Hospital.

He was born March 23, 1949 in Raven, Virginia, the son of James Luther and Myrtle Mae Shelton Hill.

He retired from Robin Industries in Berlin as a supervisor after over 12 years of employment.  Ted was a member of the Millersburg Church of God where he taught Sunday school.

Surviving is his wife, Shirley Hill of Shreve; children, Michael Geiogue of Millersburg, Luke (Erin) Hill and Jeff Hill both of Big Prairie, Jerid (Donna) Hill of St. Petersburg, FL, Mitchell Geiogue of Grafton, Ted Jr. (Zabrina) Hill of Nashville, Brad Hill of Wooster and Steve Hill of Ashland; 23 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Sonja Taulbee, Sylvia Cruey, Mike Hill and Dorothy Dudley and many, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Rev. Clifford Hill, Sr., Sharon Bevington, Betty Stutzman and Brenda Crawford.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Masters officiating.  Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Shreve.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. My family spent so much time with the whole family. So I grew up thinking we were all family. Ted was a good hearted man. Again I am sorry for your loss

I am so sorry to hear of Ted's passing. Ted was a very hard working Christian man. I met Ted at the Millersburg Church of God. Ted was always there on the spot for the Food Pantry and if he had been paid for his Prayers he would be a millionaire. Ted you will be missed by so many but you have also left a lasting memory to all those you touched. My Prayers go out to Ted's family. May God comfort you during this journey. I will always cherish that I got to sing Happy 70th Birthday to you at the restaurant in Shreve. R.I.P. My Dear Friend.
