Thelma Miller, age 89, of Wooster passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 14, 2022 on her 89th birthday at The Avenue at Wooster.
She was born on April 14, 1933 to Clarence and Esther (Hesson) Thompson, in Middleburg, Ohio.   She married Delmer Miller on December 19, 1953.   He preceded her in death on March 1, 1990.
Thelma is survived by her daughter Carol (Chuck) Patterson of Newark, and sons John (Barb) Miller and Delmer Miller of Wooster.   Grandchildren: Jamie (Erin) Patterson and Holly Patterson of Newark and Jessica (Stephen Shutt) Tope of Wooster. Great-Grandchildren: Savannah, Brennigan and Parker Patterson, Madelynn and Maximus Tope.   Thelma is also survived by her only sister, Mary Jean Schlauch, of Wooster and her sister in law; Janet Thompson, of Wooster,  along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her six brothers, Victor, Earl, Walter, John, Harold and Junior Thompson and Great-Granddaughter, Everleigh Shutt.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, is assisting the family.
To honor her wishes, there will be no services.
The family sends a special thank you to the staff of The Avenue at Wooster for assisting in her care for the past two and a half years.

  3. Just heard Thelma passed away. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a very special lady. Kind to everyone. Remember lots of talks and playing cards with her and Elsie and Lori. Hope her passing was peaceful. Wanda

  4. So sorry for the loss of Thelma! I used to work at The Avenue and she was one of my residents on C Hall. Such a sweet lady. Prayers for your family!
