Thomas Gregory Pacek, 71, of Wooster, was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on Friday September 16, 2016 at LifeCare Hospice.
Tom was born May 20, 1945 to the late Stanley and Florence Pawlowski Pacek. He served with the United States Navy from 1963 to 1967 and retired from Metals USA in 2014 after 34 years of employment. He was a loving and supportive husband, father and grandfather who greatly enjoyed spending time with his family. Tom enjoyed vacationing with his wife, and making lasting memories on their many travels. He also loved playing golf and watching sports, especially games played by his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Maryann Podsedly Pacek; children Paul (Jodi) Pacek and Andrea (Adam) Spencer; grandchildren Allison Spencer, Emily Pacek, Joshua Spencer, Benjamin Spencer, Timothy Spencer and Peter Spencer; and sisters Patricia Lis and Carol Leonard. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Pacek.
Mass of Christian Burial will held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave. Wooster, Ohio 44691. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
