WOOSTER – Timothy L Doc JOHNSTON, 64, of Wooster passed away Friday, March 6, 2009 in Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.
He was born May 7, 1944 in Newcomerstown, OH, son of Harold C and Virginia J. Gatchel Johnston.
Timothy had been a chiropractor for over 30 years in Wooster and then owned a computer repair business for the last 18 years. He served his country with the U.S. Air Force. Doc enjoyed golfing and watching sports and he enjoyed taking care of student athletes over the years and enjoyed his pets.
Surviving are his mother, Virginia J. Gatchel Johnston, of Canton, his wife, Patricia Isenhower Johnston, whom he married August 28, 1966; a daughter, Kelly Johnston of Seattle, WA, brothers William C Johnston of Canton and Daniel F. Johnston of Florida.
Timothy was preceded in death by his father.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Kevin Phipps officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
