WOOSTER -Twila V. LEMMON, 95, of Wooster, OH, passed away October 5, 2008 at West View Manor Nursing Home.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, Tuesday evening from 6-8:00 P.M.
Services will be held at West Hill Baptist Church, October 8, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Revs. Dan Wingate and Eric Fairhurst officiating. Interment will follow in the the Wilmot Cemetery.
She was born December 10, 1912 in Stark County, OH, daughter of Ross and Cora Kendall Swan.
Twila was a homemaker and a member of theWest Hill Baptist Church. She and her husband had also been Foster Parents to many little children giving them much love throughout the years.
Surviving are son, Richard (Donna) Lemmon of Wooster, OH, daughter, Norma J. (Robert) Aukerman of Myrtle Beach, SC, daughter, Glenda Lemmon of Wooster, OH; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and a sister Marquerite Witham of Sarasota, FL.
Twila was preceded in death by by her husband, Kenneth Lemmon, whom she married in 1935, brothers William, Ralph, Robert and Harold and sisters Mary and Helen.
