Wooster:   Vanessa Elizabeth Swank passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at Hospice Life Care supported by her family.   She was 43.
Vanessa was born March 7, 1976.   She was the daughter of Jon and Edith (Pontius) Swank of Wooster.   She graduated from Wooster High School with the class of 1995.   After studies at the University of Toledo, Vanessa earned a degree from the University of Akron in 2013.
Most recently, Vanessa worked as a childcare leader for the Orrville YMCA.   She previously assisted in the pharmacy at CVS.   Active in both orchestra and band during her school years, Vanessa maintained her love of music.   She relished her time at the family cottage in Lakeside, Ohio and introducing her nieces to all Lakeside has to offer.   She was very much a people person.
