Born January 18, 1952 in Wooster, OH, he was the son of Walter M. Sr. and Dorothy Airwyke Wickens.
He had been a truck driver for D & S Distribution. Served his country with the U. S. Marines Crops. Member of the Moose Lodge.
Surviving are a son, Michael (Heather) Wickens of Creston and a
daughter, Kimberly (Tom) Carr of North Lawrence, OH; his mother of Wooster; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Sandy (Lloyd) Smetzer of Shreve and Jennifer (David) Hershberger of Wooster, brothers, Frank Wickens of Wooster and Robert Wickens of Smithville and a half brother, Richard Airwyke of Wooster; several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mickie Wickens, his father, a brother Paul David, a sister Dorothy Kay and an infant sister, Brenda.

Sunday evening from 5-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home
Interment Monday at 11:30 A.M. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery
