WOOSTER – Walter Scott TUCKER, 98, of Wooster, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 in West View Manor Nursing Home.
No calling hours.
Memorial Services will be held at the Wooster United Methodist Church, Sunday, May 4, 2008, at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Dr. David Wilcox officiating.
Private family burial will be held at the Wooster Cemetery.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born February 25, 1910 in Huntsburg, OH he was the son of Albert and Chrissy Scott Tucker.
Mr. Tucker graduated from the Ohio State University in 1934. From 1963 until his retirement in 1975 he worked for the Orrville Milk Co. as an ice cream maker. Member of the Wooster United Methodist Church, a 50 year member of the Wooster Rotary Club and and was a member of the Isaac Walton League.
Surviving are sons, Dr. Thomas Tucker of Durham, NC and William Tucker of The Villages, FL; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Kosman Tucker, in 1991 whom he married in 1930.
