WOOSTER – Wanda M.MCKINSTRY, 82 of Wooster, died Sunday, December 30, 2007 in West View Manor Nursing Home.
Born September 8, 1925 in Wooster, Ohio, she was the daughter of Omar and Ruth Weaver Thorley.
She worked as a LPN for West View Manor Nursing Home in Wooster and St. Luke’s Nursing Home in North Canton. She was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church and Hartville Lions Club.
Surviving are a son, Roger (Lesley) McKinstry of Arlington, OH., a daughter, Diana (Ronnie) Flannagan of Massillon, OH., sisters, Eloise Snoddy of Wooster, Mary Sue Besancon of Apple Creek, and Joanne Mead of Columbus, a brother, David Thorley of Stow, Grandchildren, Mark (Erin) McKinstry, Gregg McKinstry, and Eric Flannagan, Great-Grandchildren, Vicki and Brent Flannagan.
Preceding her in death were her husband Clyde McKinstry, on Jan. 11, 1999, an infant brother and a grandson Scott Flannagan.
Private family service will be held at a later date.
