Wayne E. Thompson, 55, of Big Prairie died at his home on Friday January 23, 2009.
Born on September 30, 1953 in Athens, Ohio he was the son of Louis H. and Velva Jean (Poston)Thompson.
Wayne worked as a set up man at the Circle/Diamonite Factory. He was also an avid fisherman, camper, water skier and loved spending time with his family and helping people.
Wayne is survived by his wife Vickie (Markley) Thompson; daughter Stephanie Thompson of the home; grandson Clayton Jay Glasford; father Louis Thompson of Massillon; sisters Jean Temple of Reynoldsburg, Deanna Thompson of Lakeville, Michelle Regula of Baltic and Sharon Drawbridge of Kentucky; brothers Joe Hair of Texas, Louis E. Thompson of North Carolina, Bill McGrim of Wooster, Tim Thompson of Millersburg, Chris Thompson and Scott Thompson both of Big Prairie.
Funeral service will be on Tuesday January 27, 2009 at 3:00 pm at McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St, Wooster. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
