Remembering Willard as a child and teenager, as I write this only a few hundred yards down the mountain on which he was born and raised. We both left to serve our country and pursue careers in different parts of the country and the world, and I have returned to our birthplace for my final years. Everyone we have known becomes a part of us, and I fondly remember Willard and his family, particularly Odell, Ellard and Lloyd, with whom I interacted as a child. May you be comforted in knowing that Willard is fondly remembered.
