WOOSTER “ William J. McCoy, 58, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at his home.
He was born April 30, 1959 in Cleveland, the son of James W. and Mary Pauley McCoy.
He was a retired self-employed welder who enjoyed woodworking, fishing and being with his family.
William is survived by his children, James Billy(Apryl) McCoy of Wisconsin, Robert McCoy of New York, Brian McCoy of Garretsville and Terrance McCoy of Niles, Ohio; 3 grandchildren; his siblings, Patty McCoy of Pensacola, FL, Jerry (Kitty) Cyrus of West Salem, Sue (Kurt) Mutchler of Wooster, Robin (Jeff) Lawrentz of Cuyahoga Falls, Kathy Garhart of Penna. and Karen McCoy of Calif., and many nieces and nephews and his loving companion, Lynn Angle of Wooster.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no calling hours and private family services will be held at a later date.
