WOOSTER – William L. Hatfield Jr., 74, of Wooster passed away the morning of February 21,2021 after a brief illness.
Bill was born on January 30th 1947 to William L.and Aleatha (Horst) Hatfield Sr. in Wooster, Ohio. He married the love of his life Edith Wile on June 29th 2000.
Bill had been employed in factory and retail throughout his life. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and playing golf. Bill most loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren along with his four legged daughter Susie.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons Ronnie J. (Jackie) Hatfield of Marshallville, Michael (Jessica) Hatfield of Wooster and daughter in law Christa Hatfield of Shreve, 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and brother Gary Hatfield of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister (Beverly), oldest son William M. Hatfield, granddaughter (Rebecca) and great granddaughter (Adelene).
There will be no calling hours, a family graveside gathering at Crownhill Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
