  2. Your Dad was a nice man and a good neighbor. Some years ago he was on his way to my house, carrying a broom, to save me and my dog from a raccoon. Fortunately, the raccoon left the area before Bill arrived. It was the thought that counted.

  4. Dear Leanne and family,
I remember how quiet and kind your dad was.
Your parents always came home for lunch. I remember when you were re-enacting how the neighbor boy fell off your monkey bars and cried the day before, YOU actually broke your arm. Your dad was very calm while I rode my bicycle home in a panic. He knew how to keep you calm.
I’m sending my love and prayers to you and your family. This has been a tough year for you all.
