Sterling Hozy Hostetler, 86 of Wooster and Venice, FL died Saturday, May 24, 2008.
He was a graduate of Apple Creek High School in 1940 and the Ohio Institute of Business with a bachelor of science degree in higher accounting and business education.
He worked as an accountant for 32 years and retired from the CPA firm of Croskey, Hostetler and Mapes in 1982. Following retirement, he worked part-time at the College of Wooster golf course.
He served his country during WWII with the U.S. 33 rd Infantry Division of the Army and spent 39 months in the South Pacific.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, the former Laura Jane McQuigg; sons James (Nancy) of Boulder, Colorado and Steven (Debra) of Corvallis, ORegon and two granddaughters.
