WOOSTER – Hazel N. VENTURINI, 88, of Wooster, OH 44691, died Sunday, November 2, 2008 in West View Manor Nursing Home.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Tuesday evening from 6-8:00 P.M.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. with the Rev. Kenneth Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
She was born June 3, 1920 in Bald Eagle, PA, daughter of Harry and Anna Riley Butterbaugh.
Hazel was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God. She had also been a crossing guard for the Wooster Police Dept.
Surviving are her children, Larry Brenneman of FL, Marcia Brenneman of Wooster, Cheryl Ratzel of Sterling, 6 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, sister, Shirley Viar and a brother, Dr. William Butterbaugh both of Wooster.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry Venturini, a daughter, Janice Parker, brothers Harry Butterbaugh, Jr., David Butterbaugh, Sr. and a sister Gloria Butterbaugh and 1 grandchild.
