WOOSTER – Doris Lillian JOHNSON, 85, of Wooster passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Sunrise Assisted Living.
She was born September 6, 1923 in Girard, Ohio, the daughter of John and Lillian Probst Johnson.
She was a homemaker and had been a secretary for the Lake Erie Railroad and the Orange School District..
Surviving are husband, Wallace Johnson, to whom she had been married for 55 years; a daughter, Margaret (Stuart) Miller of Wooster and a son, Wallace (Connie) Johnson of Graff, MO, grandchildren Cameron (Liz) Miller and Rebecca and Jeremy Johnson; brothers, Jack (Louise) Johnson of Florida and Ralph (Shirley) Johnson of Niles, OH.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family with arrangements.
